Canceling your subscription
How to cancel, what you keep, and what happens to your bot.
How to cancel
- Go to /billing.
- Click "Manage subscription" — this opens Stripe's Customer Portal.
- Choose "Cancel subscription."
- Confirm. Stripe sets your subscription to cancel at the end of the current billing period.
We honor the paid-through period — your bot keeps running until the end of the cycle you've already paid for. After that, it enters the "lapsed" state and stops placing new orders.
What you keep when you cancel
- Your account stays active (you can sign in, view dashboard, see history).
- Your Kraken positions are unaffected.
- Your bot config + state are preserved.
- Your trade history + audit log are preserved.
What changes when the subscription lapses
- The bot will refuse to place NEW orders.
- Existing SELL orders on Kraken stay in place (Stripe doesn't reach into Kraken to cancel them).
- You'll see a "subscription inactive" badge on the dashboard.
Reactivating after cancellation
Visit /billing any time after cancellation and pick a plan again. We reactivate immediately; your bot resumes with the same config + state.
Account vs subscription
Canceling your subscription ≠ deleting your account. The subscription is a Stripe-side state; the account is our DB record + your bot config.
To delete your account entirely (Article 17 GDPR right to erasure), see Deleting your account.
Refunds for unused time
We don't automatically prorate. See Refund policy.
